London Lane is one of our supported homes in Bromley. The home consists of 11 studio apartments, with homely communal areas and a garden shared with our other home, London Road.
London Lane has a homely open plan living and dining area, complete with a fireplace and piano. There is also a large shared garden and summer house, which residents enjoy using during the warmer months. Residents dine together at lunch time and for their light tea, they prepare their own breakfast. The housekeeper takes care of the communal areas and residents maintain their own bedrooms.
Residents live in personalised flatlets that they furnish themselves. Their room is centrally heated and fitted with en-suite wash basins, toilets and, in some cases, showers. Each room also has a small area so for a kettle and microwave.
There are stair-lifts to all floors, and “medic” baths as well as showers. All the residents’ rooms have audio and visual fire alarms, an emergency call system and an entry phone. We welcome visitors at any time.
Regular social activities include music, talks and may more.
