Drewery House
Located next to our residential care home in Wigmore, Drewery House is suitably situated in a lovely suburb of Gillingham. It provides 12 bedrooms with en suites, as well as two self-contained apartments.
The warm and welcoming home has a spacious, light and airy dining room and lounge, which is shared by all residents, giving them the opportunity to socialise and build friendships. The well-maintained gardens, to the front and back of the house, are lovely and enjoyed all year round by the residents. There are also laundry facilities, where residents have allocated slots.
Residents dine together at lunch time and for their light tea, they prepare their own breakfast. The housekeeper takes care of the communal areas and residents maintain their own bedrooms.
A variety of activities and events take place at the home, for example, daily coffee mornings, tea parties and a regular holy communion. A librarian visits quarterly and a mobile hairdresser also visits the home, residents can make appointments at their convenience. Should residents wish to attend a church service, there is a church opposite the home. Residents also enjoy pursuing their own hobbies, such as reading, knitting, playing games and helping one another with jigsaw puzzles.

Drewery House is in an ideal location, close to local amenities including convenience shops, food outlets, health clinic, doctor surgery and a Post Office.
The home also has good transport links, with the M2 just a few minutes’ drive away, providing easy access into London through to the Kent Coast. Should you wish to explore further afield, there is a bus stop within close proximity to the home. For popping to the shops, Hempstead Valley, a large shopping centre is just a short drive from the home.
