Gravesend Residents Grab a Slice of the Action
Watling Court residents enjoyed an evening that couldn’t be topped this week, when they got together to make their own homemade pizzas from scratch.
Residents of the Ifield Way extra care housing scheme in Gravesend swapped their usual take-away for a fake-away this week, as they decided to have a go at making their own pizzas.
The residents got together in the dining room, armed with the ingredients for their dough and plenty of tasty toppings, where they crafted their own restaurant-style pizzas.
Plenty of fun was had as they loaded their pizzas with their favourite things and once they were cooked, the residents enjoyed sampling their creations together.
Helen Goulding, Housing Officer at Watling Court said: “We usually have a takeaway evening every week but this week, we decided to have a go at making our own pizzas.
“It was a lot of fun and easier than some of the residents expected, they tasted fantastic too, so I think we’ll be doing it again very soon!”
