Rogers House Residents get Busy with Easter Preparations

The residents of Rogers House Residential Care Home in Wigmore seemingly have a spring in their step, as they’re already busy preparing for Easter.

Keen to ensure a Hoppy Easter, the creative residents of the Drewery Drive residential care home got stuck into some cracking crafting this week, inspired by the upcoming holiday.

The seasonal celebrations are well underway, as the residents gathered in the activity room. Armed with an abundance of accessories from eggs and bunnies to chicks and flowers, the residents crafted their very own themed bunny ears, with their own personal stamp.

Jackie Miles, Home Manager of Rogers House said: “A lot of our residents really enjoy crafting and have made some wonderful things recently, including dream catchers and bird feeders.

“We always do lots of crafting and Easter is the perfect opportunity to try something seasonal and a bit different. They were all delighted with their bunny ears and enjoyed showing them off to one another.”
