Care Home Residents Mark Random Acts of Kindness Day

To spread some cheer on Random Acts of Kindness Day, the residents of Rogers House Residential Care Home in Wigmore came up with a very thoughtful idea.

Residents of the Drewery Drive home wanted to bring a smile to the staff members’ faces and brighten up their day, so in a bid to do so, they made some handmade cards with personalised ‘thank you’ messages in for all the team.

To thank them for their hard work, day in day out but particularly during the pandemic, the residents made a card for every employee and hand delivered them on Random Acts of Kindness Day, 17th February.

Jackie Miles, Home Manager of Rogers House said: “It was very thoughtful of the residents to make the cards for the staff for Random Acts of Kindness Day, they work very hard and see the residents here as their extended family, so it was a lovely surprise that really put a smile on their faces.”
