Rapport Residents Welcome the Year of the Tiger

Residents across Rapport Housing & Care’s homes and schemes celebrated the Chinese New Year on 1st February with some grrreat activities.

“Gong Hei Fat Choy” was the message this week, as our residents rang in the Year of the Tiger with some Chinese inspired activities, from crafting to culinary.

Residents at Rogers House Care Home in Wigmore got stuck into some crafting, making handheld fans and decorating them with their own intricate designs. They also enjoyed a Chinese meal for lunch, complete with chopsticks.

Meanwhile, at Watling Court Extra Care Housing Scheme in Gravesend, staff prepared a tasty treat to mark the occasion too, offering a banquet of Chinese delicacies so the residents could enjoy a meal together.
