Residents Enjoy Festive Fun at Rosewell House
‘Tis the season to be jolly and residents at Rosewell House Extra Care Housing Scheme have certainly been getting into the spirit of the most wonderful time of the year.
The countdown to Christmas Day is on and residents of the Tonbridge extra care housing scheme are certainly in the Christmas spirit. After a Christmas apart in 2020, the residents are making up for lost time and enjoying being able to socialise with one another one again.
On Friday 10th December, the residents got together in their most sparkly and brightest Christmas jumpers to enjoy a coffee and mince pie and celebrate Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children, some of the home’s pooches also showcased their seasonal style with jumpers matching their owners.
The residents also enjoyed a seasonal singalong, when they got together for some Carol singing, for which the Christmas jumpers also made an appearance.
Jackie Little, Housing Officer at Rosewell House said: “Last Christmas, the residents couldn’t socialise together at Christmas, so this year, even with Omicron, they’re very much enjoying being able to get together and do some festive activities as a group.”
