Residents Enjoy Festive fun at Gravesend Care Home
With Christmas just around the corner, residents of Edward Moore House Residential Care Home in Gravesend have been enjoying some festive activities.
Despite concerns around Omicron, the festive celebrations are well underway at the Trinity Road care home, where residents have been getting into the Christmas spirit.
The celebrations started with preparations of course, with residents invited to make some homemade paper chains to hang around the home, there were also several trees to be decorated.
The residents have also enjoyed some seasonal baking, as they made some homemade sausage rolls, to be included in the buffet at their Christmas party. Staff didn’t miss out on the fun either, as they hosted a festive pyjama day, to keep spirits high.
Christine Hutchinson, General Manager of Edward Moore House said: “Christmas isn’t quite back to normal but we’re still making the most of it here at Edward Moore House. There is plenty of festive fun happening throughout December and the residents are having a great time.”
