Bonfire Night Goes off with a Bang at Northfleet Care Home

Residents of Dene Holm Residential Care Home in Northfleet enjoyed a cracking Bonfire Hight, complete with a firework display in their very own garden.

Who needs to go out to a firework display when you can watch one in your very own garden? Residents of the Dene Holm Road home were treated to a private firework display on Friday night, complete with sparklers for an added bit of fun.

There were plenty of blankets handed out as the residents wrapped up warm to watch the display from the garden’s decking, those who didn’t want to head out in the cold, could watch from inside, so no one missed out on the exciting evening.

Christine Hutchinson, General Manager of Dene Holm said: “We always have our own firework display here at Dene Holm, that way, no resident misses out, even if they can’t get out or don’t want to come out in the cold.

“It’s always a fun evening with plenty of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ as the staff set off the fireworks, it’s always nice to get back inside for a hot drink after too!”
