Gravesend Residents get Together for Cracking Bonfire Night

Residents of Watling Court Extra Care Housing Scheme in Gravesend enjoyed an explosive evening on Saturday, as they got together for a Bonfire Night Bonanza.

With family and friends finally able to join them for the occasion, residents of the Ifield Way scheme were over the moon to be able to celebrate the 5th November with their loved ones this year.

Residents and their guests were treated to a private firework display in the garden, complete with sparklers for the kids… and for the big kids too!

Revellers were then invited inside to warm up, with plenty of hearty and warming treats on offer, from hot dogs to jacket potatoes, as well as a nice hot cup of tea.

Helen Goulding, Housing Officer at Watling Court said: “After such a long time without parties and guests, it’s been wonderful to be able to start the festive season of celebrations with our traditional Bonfire Night event. It’s great to see the residents socialising again together and everyone had such a fun evening.”
