No Tricks, Just Treats at Rosewell House’s Halloween Party

The message was ‘eat, drink and be scary’ at the residents’ Halloween Party at Rosewell House Extra Care Housing Scheme in Tonbridge over the weekend.

With plenty of ghoulish decorations adorning the scheme, there was certainly a spooky atmosphere in the air for the residents’ Halloween party on Saturday night.

After missing their party last in 2020 due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the residents were thrilled to be celebrating the spooky season together this year and they even booked in a live singer to entertain them for the evening, especially for the occasion.

Both staff and residents were encouraged to attend in fancy dress if they wanted to and as they danced the evening away, they tucked into a terrifyingly tasty buffet and a cauldron of witches brew, a lovely hot apple cider.

Jackie Little, Housing Officer at Rosewell House said: “It’s so great to see the residents back together as the past year and a half has been incredibly tough for them, with no group activities and socialising.

“They had such a fun evening and are all looking forward to the Christmas activities getting up and running!”
