Halloween is Frighteningly fun for Gravesend Care Home Residents

Residents of Edward Moore House Residential Care Home in Gravesend got into the spooky spirit of Halloween, with a celebratory party over the weekend.

A fun eerie atmosphere filled the Trinity Road care home on Saturday afternoon, as staff invited residents to join in some Halloween themed activities.

Dressed in their finest, and scariest, fancy dress, staff put on a host of games including pin the tail on the black cat, mummy wrapping with toilet paper and some good old-fashioned apple bobbing.

After all that fun, residents had worked up quite an appetite, so they tucked into the boo-ffet, with plenty of seasonal treats on offer including some bright orange pumpkin doughnuts!

Christine Hutchinson, General Manager of Edward Moore House said: “The Halloween party was great fun, the residents had a lovely time joining in the games and trying the treats that were on offer, thankfully there were no tricks for them!”
