Wigmore Care Home Residents Have Fang-tastic Halloween

Residents of Rogers House Residential Care Home in Wigmore enjoyed a spook-tacular Halloween party over the weekend, filled with treats aplenty and thankfully, no tricks!

With the dining room adorned with glittery pumpkins and fancy dress encouraged, staff ensured residents had a gourd time at their Halloween party on Saturday.

In preparation, residents had decorated some homemade cupcakes in a spooky theme the day before, which were served at the party. Residents also enjoyed a buffet tea and a few creepy cocktails.

A live singer provided the entertainment so residents could boo-gie the night away; in all in all, a fang-tastic afternoon was had by all.

Jackie Miles, Home Manager of Rogers House said: “We had a lot of fun at our Halloween party, it was great to be able to have a live entertainer back in for the first time since restrictions were brought in, it made for a really fun atmosphere. Everyone loved it and can’t wait for the festive season to start now!”
