Local Morrisons Store Makes Fa-boo-lous Donation to Care Home Residents
Halloween fun was on the cards for residents of Dene Holm Residential Care Home in Northfleet this week, when the nearby Morrisons store dropped off some pumpkins.
The Morrisons superstore on Coldharbour Road is a good friend to the residents of the home, regularly dropping off treats and flowers and this week, the residents were in for a spooky surprise with a delivery of pumpkins.
The home’s contact at the store, Chris Bradford, visited the residents with several bags of pumpkins, which the activity team helped them carve and prepare for the upcoming Halloween weekend.
Christine Hutchinson, General Manager of Dene Holm said: “Over the past couple of years, the staff at Morrisons have been incredibly kind to us, donating eggs at Easter and flowers for flower arranging activities, the residents even visited the café for lunch a few weeks ago.
“We’re very grateful for their continued support and kindness, the residents had a great afternoon carving the pumpkins.”
