Fashion Week fun Brings Runway to Rogers House
To celebrate London Fashion Week last week, residents of Rogers House Residential Care Home in Wigmore, brought some ‘à la mode’ to their activities.
Fashion Week fever hit the Drewery Drive care home last week, as the residents unleashed their inner designers, with a craft activity inspired by the seasonal show.
Using an array of craft items, from glitter and paints to pipe cleaners and pom poms, the creative residents used blank templates to design their own clothes for the upcoming season.
Jackie Miles, Home Manager of Rogers House said: “Our residents really enjoy their craft activities but we don’t want to do the same thing all the time, so we try to look at what’s going on to inspire what we do.
“They really enjoyed the fashion week challenge as it enabled them to embrace their creative sides.”
