Boiled Eggs and Baking Biscuits Make for Easter Fun at Canterbury Care Home

Easter fun brought smiles to the residents of Connors House Residential Care Home last week, as they enjoyed an Easter eggs-travaganza of activities.

It wasn’t just Easter eggs staff were dishing out to residents over the Easter weekend at the Craddock Road residential care home, as there were plenty of seasonal activities on the cards too. From boiled egg races, to baking biscuits, there was something for everyone.

The fun started with the residents painting and decorating their hard-boiled eggs, ready for the egg and spoon race on Easter Monday. Biscuit baking and mini egg Cornflake cakes were also on the menu, as the keen bakers of the group enjoyed some fun in the kitchen. As the egg-cellent activities drew to a close, staff gave out Easter eggs to the residents, so they could tuck in over the weekend.

Christine Devlin, General Manager of Connors House said: “The residents really enjoyed the variety of Easter themed activities on offer this year, in particular the egg and spoon race was a lot of fun and certainly generated some laughs!”
