Canterbury Care Home Residents Decorate for Christmas

With the festivities just around the corner, residents of Connors House Residential Care Home in Canterbury helped the staff to spruce up their home for Christmas.

Christmas spirit was in the air at the Craddock Road residential care home this week, as the residents got together to get their home ready for the upcoming festive season. There was plenty to do as everyone grabbed a box of baubles and got stuck into the job at hand.

With several trees to be dressed, it was a real team effort to make them all look great. By the time the trees were completely decorated, everyone was in the mood for Christmas, as they’d spent all morning talking about their favourite Christmas memories, traditions and what they love about the season.

Christine Devlin, Home Manager of Connors House said: “Christmas isn’t what we all expected it to be this year but that doesn’t mean it won’t still be special. We have lots of fun activities going on and we’re working hard to ensure our residents can stay in touch with their loved ones, to keep everything as normal as possible.”
