Canterbury city centre is a 15-minute walk from the home, with taxi facilities and regular buses available.

The city centre has good transport links to local areas such as Ashford and Dver. Whitstable, Herne Bay and Margate are nearby making summer day trips to the beach easy. A high-speed train service also operates from Canterbury, enabling travel to central London within an hour.  

Canterbury has a great selection of attractions and amenities for residents and visitors alike. These include Canterbury Cathedral, seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury, St Augustine’s Abbey, St Martin’s Church and a variety of museums. 

There is also a good range of cinemas, bars, cafes and plenty of shops.
