The sun was shining all weekend, so with the doors to the garden thrown open, residents got together in the restaurant at the Tudeley Lane housing scheme, to celebrate Easter.

As well as a traditional egg hunt around the scheme, for the younger and older guests, residents and their friends enjoyed a raffle with plenty of Easter prizes, a live singer and lots of food and drink.

As the entertainer performed a number of nostalgic numbers, the residents and their guests danced the afternoon away and enjoyed a tipple or two with one another. Making the most of the great weather, they were able to enjoy the scheme’s garden too.

Jackie Little, Housing Officer at Rosewell House commented: “We had a great afternoon at our Easter party, it was lovely that some family and friends came to join us for the celebration and also that the weather was just fabulous, which made it even better. We were able to use the garden for one of the first times this year, we’re all now looking forward to the warmer months and having barbecues and garden parties!”
